Four years ago while working as an integrative energy specialist, Carol Pliska, a Young Living Gold (2006) from Mesa, Arizona, was introduced to Young Living by her friend Janet McBride. At the time, Carol was very skeptical about essential oils but she referred several of her clients to Janet to see if what she was saying about the oils was true. Carol was amazed as her clients reported that Janet’s essential oils really worked.

Carol says, “As Janet worked with my clients, I was astounded by the power of the essential oils. As I noticed that the results were almost instantaneous, I decided that I had to take a closer look at the oils.” Carol liked what she saw. She shares, “The more I studied the oils, the more I liked them. Because I have a reputation for getting results, I have to have products that work. That is why I was so happy when I found Young Living essential oils because they work. My clients know they can count on me and I know that I can count on Young Living products.” Carol is a firm believer in being a product of the products!

Attributing her success to being genuine and honest, Carol says, “I offer people real results with Young Living’s products. When people experience actual results, they are very impressed and want more. When you have a personal physical result, you know it is true. It’s not just talk anymore-it is fact. Then you just share that experience with others. In fact, it is hard not to share such a powerful experience with others.”

Sharing her advice, Carol teaches new distributors that most people are not interested in lengthy discourses on health, but are only interested in what Young Living’s products can do specifically for them. She says, “People love to buy, but they hate to be sold. Do not tell people everything you know about essential oils. If you listen carefully to what they say and what their complaints are, and then you offer solutions to their problems, they will want what you have. This way the information you give them is exactly the information they asked for and need. It does not matter what the issue is, Young Living has an answer.”

To help people find answers to their essential oil questions, Carol loves using the Essential Oils Desk Reference and Releasing Emotional Patterns with Essential Oils. She shares, “With these reference books, you have everything you need at your fingertips. You can confidently help people find answers to their questions. I love it when people ask me questions that I do not know the answer to. I quickly look it up and we learn something together.”

Speaking about the future of Young Living, Carol barely contains her enthusiasm. She says, “I hear people say that the sky is the limit for Young Living. But I believe that Young Living has no limits. Everyone calls me the Queen of Oils. I love that title because I love being associated with the oils. I have developed a program I call the Royal Transformation Training. It is based on helping people have their own essential oil experiences and overcome the blocks and hindrances in their businesses and personal growth. Once they experience the oils, their lives will improve physically, emotionally, and if they choose, financially.”

With her primary focus on answering questions, expanding the knowledge and use of the oils, and helping people improve their lives; Carol is definitely the queen of essential oils to those who know her.

Carol’s Tips

When someone mentions a problem, there are key questions you should ask:

1 How long have you had that problem?
2 What have you tried so far?
3 What kind of results are you having?
4 Are you happy with those results, or are you willing to try something different that might work?

You then mention that you have had clients with the same problem and tell them which Young Living products will help them. When you speak with confidence and passion, people will listen. Young Living’s products give you all the confidence you need. Young Living essential oils are so powerful and so adaptive that you can have complete confidence they will help your clients-every time.
